The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7 is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) for Project: 508-24-115 Upgrade Transformer Bldg. 135 at the Atlanta VA Health Care System located at 1670 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA 30033. Project Description The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment personnel, supervision, materials, supplies and transportation necessary to perform secondary work on a relocated transformer for building 135 at the Ft. Macpherson location as shown in the associated drawings within the Atlanta VA Health Care System. Work includes installation of 2 runs of 4 PVC conduit 120 from the new transformer to the new secondary terminating cabinet location near the existing customer owned transformer by open trench. Installation of 2 runs of 4 PVC conduit 120 from the new transformer to the new secondary terminating cabinet location near the existing customer owned transformer by open trench, saw cut concrete slab if necessary to stub up new conduits with the existing secondary conduits, provide and install (1) run of 500UQA CU through each conduit, de-energize and remove existing customer owned radial feed transformer and remove from customer site, install secondary terminating cabinet over the existing and new secondary cables at old transformer location. Provide concrete for pad extension as necessary for secondary terminating cabinet, make secondary terminations in terminating cabinet, and provide and install 4 - 6 bollards at new transformer location.  NAICS code 238210. The statement should not exceed 5 pages.
