The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Potential vendors are to complete the attached RFQ document and submit an itemized quote as well as submit sufficient supporting documentation as required. This supporting documentation will be used to determine if the quoted items meet the requirements of the solicitation. Probe that can detect the pressures that accompany swallowing. Probe/Procedure that can help to diagnose achalasia and other swallowing disorders that can be used for patient who get reflux surgeries (Nissen Fundoplicaiton) System that detects narrowing of the esophagus, assesses the ability of the muscles of the esophagus to contract and pass food in the right direction (preventing aspiration of contents into the lungs) System that can determine the elasticity of the esophagus Probe used to measure the function of the lower esophageal sphincter (the valve that prevents reflux, or backward flow, of gastric acid into the esophagus) and the muscles of the esophagus.
