Expression of Interest Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) currently occupies 10,000 Rental Square Feet (RSF) / 7,407 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) of office space in a building under lease in Newnan, GA. The current lease expires August 19, 2022; and as a result, the Government has a requirement for a long-term lease for the same square footage in the following delineated area: NORTH: GA State Route 34 SOUTH: Springfield Dr. EAST: Oak Hill Ct. WEST: Wexford Dr. Note: Building cannot be within a 100-year flood plain. The Government seeks to lease approximately 10,000 RSF / 7,407 NUSF of office space. The lease term requirement is ten (10) years; five (5) firm, five (5) non-firm years. The space must be available for occupancy by August 20, 2022. This requirement is for a fully-service lease (all utility, services, maintenance costs included in rent). The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In addition, the Government will consider among other things, relocation costs, including the physical move and the voice and data systems move, when deciding whether it should relocate or pursue a sole-source acquisition. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and must include building address and total RSF / NUSF. Note: NUSF square footage does not include areas such as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules, public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. All interested parties should respond to this announcement no later than August 5, 2022, at 3:00 PM (Eastern).
