PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The contracting office at the Carl Vinson VAMC intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of a Planmeca ProMax Plus 2D/3D Imaging Platform brand name only. This requirement will be solicited on a 100% total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside basis  using the commercial item procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government. The FOB will be DESTINATION, Charlie Norwood Medical Center Uptown Dental Service located in 2A222, Building 110 at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA, 30904. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about April 7, 2021. The RFQ will be posted and be available for download at https://beta.sam.gov. The solicitation MUST BE EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING POC. The closing date of the solicitation will be 7 days from the solicitation posting. OFFERORS WISHING TO SUBMIT AN OFFER ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE RFQ from Beta Sam and to frequently monitor Beta Sam for any amendments. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE RFQ PACKAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
