The Central Alabama Veterans... SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Quarterly Hood Cleaning Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System 1. This is a Sources Sought Notice; it is not a Request for Quote or Proposal. 2. The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System will soon solicit for Range Hood Cleaning to be conducted for the Canteen and the Nutrition and Food Services located at 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery AL and 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee AL. 3. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and incidentals to provide and execute complete grease duct and hood systems cleaning and preventive maintenance in accordance with NFPA 96 as applicable. These services will be provided four (4) times a year (quarterly) during the months of January, April, July, October. 4. All services under this contract will be completed by properly trained, qualified and certified employees. Contractor shall be certified by appropriate federal and state regulatory agencies to meet federal and local certification requirements in inspection and cleaning of cooking hoods, ventilation fans, vent stacks, vent hoods, exhaust ducts, appurtenances and fire suppression systems. 5. The requirement for Hood Cleaning is relative to NAICS 561790, Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings Size Standard $8.0. Sources Sought Notice responses shall be submitted to Contract Specialist Marc Newbern at marc.newbern@va.gov with title Quarterly Hood Cleaning by 06 January, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
