SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a sources sought to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Small Business, HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMEMT The Augusta VA Medical Center located at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, Georgia 30904, requires the contractor is to provide CNVAMC downtown with Nurse call hardware upgrades and software upgrades for the areas noted in this SOW. The contract requires all hardware and equipment needed to upgrade outdated wiring and hardware (such as call lights, pillow speakers, workstations, connectors). The contract requires a central server replacement (which includes new software and operating system upgrades). The contract requires furnishing and installation of interfaces for ADT and Vocera. The procurement contract includes the labor (including travel) needed to install all hardware in each area noted in the SOW. The contractor requires the Contractor to provide comprehensive testing services for each area (ward) where Nurse Call hardware/ software upgrades occur. The contractor shall provide training to nursing staff (end users) for how to use the Nurse call systems after hardware and software upgrades are completed. The Contractor shall provide the required hardware and software within 120 days (noting that lead times may be higher due to COVID-19) to CNVAMC. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Augusta VA Medical Center located at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, Georgia 30904. All work will need to be performed during weekend hours. The NAICS code is 334290. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large) and DUNS Number. 2) Provide a Statement of Capability (no longer than 5 pages) that demonstrates the offeror's past performance in providing this type of service. 3) Submit Capability Statements via email to Paula.griggs@va.gov by September 1, 2020.
