REVISED STATEMENT OF WORK 619-20-1-5243-0014 OBJECTIVE: The objective of this contract is to provide base plus options to the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) with a contractual obligation that encompasses the calibration of gages and control systems for the boilers of the Montgomery Campuses. This contract shall not require access to a VA system or VA sensitive information (e.g., system administrator privileged access to a VA system, or contractor systems or processes that utilize VA sensitive information). SITE VISIT: It is suggested that Bidders visit the site to confirm location, dimension, and condition of the required for the fulfillment of this contract. The site visit will be for observing first hand any conditions relevant to the fulfillment of this contract. No consideration will be given to claims based on a lack of knowledge of the existing conditions, except where contract documents make definite provisions for adjustment in cost or extension due to existing conditions not readily foreseeable. The site address is: 215 Perry Hill Road Montgomery, AL 36109 Building 14 Engineering Services CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILTY: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary for execution of this contract. Contractor shall be responsible for the following: Montgomery Campus: Calibrate all alarm points on the annunciator panel, plus annunciator alarms (70 alarm points). Check calibration of boiler plant instrumentation and controls include calibration of all gauges on boiler and boiler system in plant (does not include Johnson Controls Metasys control system). Information on the Montgomery campus boilers, analyzers, controls, safeties and panels can be obtained from the COR. Contractor is to notify COR upon arrival on station, and a copy of the service report is to be provided to COR when service is completed. Boilers (3) are manufactured by Cleaver-Brooks The Boilers are control by Cleaver-Brooks Integrated Boiler Control Hawk System Parts and services for the Hawk System can only be provided/preform by an authorized Cleaver-Brooks representative HOURS OF WORK: The hours of work shall take place during the normal business hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded. Request for weekend work must be submitted in writing. Inspections will require a prior five-day notification submitted to the Contract Officers Technical Representative (COTR) or government representative. WARRANTY: Contractor shall warrant that the equipment shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship arising from normal usage for a period of one year.
