The Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. ACPE to provide the annual Accreditation (IAW) the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Brief Description of Requirement: Contractor will perform CPE program reviews as needed to assure the Central Alabama Healthcare Systems (CAVHCS) Montgomery, meets the standards set nationally to: assure quality in clinical pastoral education (CPE); assure students of consistency in educational programs; recognize achievement in creative programming; promote fairness in conduct and evaluation of educational programs; support best practices in pastoral education; integrate unique clinical/educational resources; and facilitate planning and evaluation Period of Performance: The review, if indicated by the accreditation agency, may be conducted anytime between, January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020. Place of Performance: Central Alabama Healthcare Systems (CAVHCS) - Montgomery, AL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813920, Professional Organizations There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website https://www.sam.gov, and also be eligible to process invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Register via the WAWF website https://wawf.eb.mil.
