This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is market research to gain knowledge of potential vendors qualified under NAICS Code 532420, Office Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition strategy decisions. This Sources Sought notice is especially interested in finding small businesses of any type (SDVOSB, VOSB, Woman Owned, or any other type of small business) capable of providing the requested services as outlined below. This notice will close on 8/9/2019 at 2:00 PM EDT, and no responses to the sources sought notice will be considered for additional market research or acquisition strategy decisions. DESCRIPTION Title of Project: Lease and Maintenance Agreement For 3 Copiers in the Atlanta VISN 7 Network Business Offices. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to provide a full-service lease and maintenance agreement for: (3) copiers with folding ability, and maintenance and repair services on the copiers including a response time within 24 hours for service request. The contractor will provide 3 copiers to meet the salient characteristics essential to the VAMC s minimum requirements as described herein, and all repair parts to include drums, rollers and toner and provide all hard drives which must be retained by the VA for destruction from the old copiers and new copiers. The place of performance will be the VISN 7 Network Business Offices at 3700 Crestwood Parkway, Duluth, GA 30096. Background: This requirement will replace the existing lease and maintenance agreement for copiers located in the VISN Office. Period of Performance: The lease and service contract will be for one year, effective 9/1/2019 with ((4) Option years. BASE YEAR: 09/01/2019 08/31/2020 Option Year 1: 09/01/2020 08/31/2021 Option Year 2: 09/01/2021 08/31/2022 Option Year 3: 09/01/2022 08/31/2023 Option Year 4: 09/01/2023 08/31/2024 Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed-Price Salient Characteristics. 3 Each 60 ppm, Color Solid-Ink Multi-functional Copy/Print/Scan/Fax. 80 GB Hard Drive. Print Resolution up to 2400x2400 dpi. Supports Post Script 3 and PCL, Standard Paper Tray accepts sizes from .58x8.3 to 11x17 and Multi-purpose Tray accepts sized from 3X5 to 11x17. Standard scanning includes scan to Network/Scan to Email/ Scan to Folder. Standard Security includes Image Overwrite, 256-bit Encryption, and common Criteria Certifications; LAN Fax capability to send documents to fax machine through the telephone network from the PC or workstation. Copy/Print/scan & Fax are easily accessible on the first screen. Auto-supplies replenishments that allows for maximum productivity. Production feeding and finishing using a wide choice of finishing options to support coated paper and multiple folding, stapling, hole punching, booklet making, and stacking features.
