This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 541350. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources that can provide: Annual Medical Gas & Vacuum Systems Inspection & Testing per NFPA, ANSI, USP, CGA, & TJC specifications & recommendations; System Components - Master Alarms, Area Alarms, Zone Valves, Patient Terminals, & Source Equipment (w/CAD Schematic of Source Equipment); Purity & Contaminants - O2, Medical Air, & N2O Gaseous, solid particulate, & medical air dew point; Additional Documentation - Inventory & Recommendations. Services shall be for one (1) base year, with four (4) optional years of service from June 1, 2019 through July 31, 2024 at the Charlie Norwood VAMC Uptown division (1 Freedom way, Augusta GA 30904) and Downtown (950 15th Street, Augusta GA 30901). Response to this notice shall include (1) a capability statement limited to two pages and three customer references to which you have provided similar services for and (2) name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: (a) Is this product or service available under a federal supply schedule (GSA)? If yes, please provide the contract number. (b) Do you manufacture or directly provide these services? If teaming please provide a copy of your teaming agreement. If subcontracting please include the name of the subcontractor. (c) Is your business large or small? (d) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (e) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. (f) Is your firm a certified hub zone firm? (g) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (h) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or veteran owned small business? (i) Is your firm registered on the System Award Management (SAM) website? Responses to this notice shall be emailed to Lasonja Harvey at Lasonja.harvey@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 11:00 AM EDT on February 8, 2019. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
