This a new requirement for Birmingham VA Medical Center. The delivery is expected to be within 6 weeks after the order is received. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program (41 U.S.C. 251 and 40 U.S.C. 501). This procurement is for a contract to replace the [VA]end of life Draeger Apollo anesthesia machines now in use at Birmingham VAMC with thirteen (13) Draeger Perseus anesthesia machines. The Perseus is the latest and most technologically advanced anesthesia machine. It is the only anesthesia machine on the market that is rated five (5) stars for general purpose by the Emergency Care Research Institute. (ECRI).
