System updates may lag policy updates, so SAM may still require representations based on provisions not included in agency solicitations. Examples include 52.222-25, Affirmative Action Compliance, and paragraph (d) of 52.212-3. Contracting officers will not consider these representations in award decisions or enforce them. Entities are not required or able to update their SAM registration to remove these representations.
