The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia, seeks construction services to renovate and expand its existing surgical suite in Building 143, including general construction, structural, architectural, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm work. The project will be completed in four sequential phases: build three new operating rooms in a vacant area, renovate existing operating rooms while patients use the new rooms, update the nursing station/pre-op area, and finally renovate the post-op recovery and surgical area. The magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000.
