The Durham VA Medical Center is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify qualified sources for Virtual Pharmacist Services focused on supplemental prescription finishing, primarily during off tours, nights, weekends, and federal/national holidays. The contractor must help keep pending mail-routed prescriptions at 500 or less daily by verifying dose, route, quantity, directions, drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, and label clarity, then suspend finished prescriptions for CMOP while striving for zero errors. Contract pharmacists must access the Durham VA Health Care System via RESCUE VPN using contractor-provided computers and must not finish problematic prescriptions such as non-formulary/restricted new prescriptions, contraindicated prescriptions, or out-of-range dosages. Interested parties should provide a capability statement covering capabilities, capacity, and location, along with company name/address, business size, and socioeconomic categories, to help determine potential SDVOSB/VOSB or small-business set-aside feasibility.
