The VA is seeking approximately 17,571 ABOA square feet of office and medical treatment space in Durham, NC, to replace an existing facility and support a new clinical service serving over 10,000 veterans with 70–80 employees. The space must be contiguous and on the first floor for a mental health clinic, include secure OIT areas with data connectivity, and provide at least 144 parking spaces within walking distance. Properties must be located within a specified delineated area extending toward Northeast Durham, Chapel Hill, Wake Forest, and Hillsborough. The current lease expires on February 27, 2028, and the new facility must be acquired by that date. This is a request for expressions of interest, not a solicitation for offers.
