The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify qualified businesses for upgrading the CLC Kitchen fire suppression system at the Durham VA Medical Center. The work involves removing the existing system and installing an ANSUL system in the kitchen hood, in compliance with NFPA Standard 96. All work must be performed on campus after hours or on weekends, and the contractor is responsible for providing labor, materials, drawings, and permits.
