In accordance with Public Law, P.L. 109-461, this is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside for Janitorial Service for VAMC Hampton, VA.
This contract requires a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and materials for custodial services at the Hampton VA Health Care System, covering housekeeping in a residential long-term facility, administrative areas, and sub-acute clinics. Services must be performed Monday through Friday, including some Federal Holidays, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with the contractor providing 18 EVS technicians and an onsite work leader. The contractor is responsible for all cleaning tasks, including floor maintenance, trash removal (including regulated medical waste), restroom cleaning, and stocking supplies, using government-provided disinfectants and basic equipment. Performance will be evaluated against specific standards, with a threshold of no more than three customer complaints per month, and deficiencies must be corrected within two hours of notification. The contractor must ensure all employees are trained, undergo background investigations, and wear identifiable uniforms, with a requirement for at least 50% coverage on Federal holidays.
