Solicitation Number: 36C24626Q0167 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation The Department of Veterans Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of the Durham VA Health Care System (VAHCS), intends to solicit for Maintenance services for Bayer Medrad Injectors to include; the Mark 7 Arterions, MRXperion, Stellant D CT Injector, and the Spectris Solaris for the Durham VA Medical Center located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705-3875. This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to solicit for maintenance services for the Bayer Medrad Injectors. A single Firm-Fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement. The solicitation and any amendments will be available on System for Awards Management (SAM)website in Contract Opportunities at http://www.SAM.gov. Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to quoters about the quote submission process. Prospective Quoters are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the SAM.gov website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Quotes will be evaluated for award after the solicitation has closed. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code 811210-Electroinc and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the Product Service (PSC) code is J065. Companies may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential quoters are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible. If the quoter is a Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), HubZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business, or 8(a) business you must be registered and certified with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and in the Small Business Administration Small Business Search (SBA, SBS) database at https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ . The VA will use the SBA, SBS to verify the socio-economic status of your company to determine if a SDVOSB or VOSB set-asides is applicable.
