The Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 will be soliciting offers for Horcher Ceiling Lift Service. The Contractor shall provide Horcher Ceiling Lift Service. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C246-26-AP-0609 will be issued on or about November 26, 2025. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210, Maintenance and repair. The Department of Veterans Affairs Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 508 Fulton St, Durham, NC 27705 is seeking potential sources capable to provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, quality control, and technical expertise to procure preventive and corrective maintenance for Horcher ceiling mounted patient lifts. The service shall encompass the scope of providing onsite preventive and corrective maintenance of Horcher Medical Systems ceiling mounted patient lifting systems installed throughout the Durham VA Healthcare System, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 (including Greenville Health Care Center (HCC)) to ensure that they are safe for patient use. The vendor will provide Service calls placed during normal business hours shall be answered within 30 minutes of initiation and the contractor shall have a service representative onsite within 4 business hours of initiation. All work is to be performed in accordance with the guidelines established by Federal, State and local ordinances, with the FDA and manufacturer s guidelines. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in repairing and maintaining one or more of the following: (1) consumer electronic equipment; (2) computers; (3) office machines; (4) communication equipment; and (5) other electronic and precision equipment and instruments, without retailing these products as new.
