The project involves supplying chilled water from Building 31’s primary chiller to Buildings 42 and 43, bypassing their existing chillers during normal operation. In normal mode, both buildings are served directly from Building 31, with the local chillers isolated and valves automatically controlled via the Building Management System (BMS). In bypass mode, Building 42’s existing chiller serves the 2-inch line to Audiology, while Building 43’s chiller serves the 3-inch building supply, with glycol replenished through pot feeders. New work includes installing additional pumps in Building 42 to support the 2-inch chilled-water line to Audiology. Performance location is within the campus buildings specified (Buildings 31, 42, and 43).
