Solicitation Number: 36C24625Q0797 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Synopsis: Omnicell XT Extension Console Upgrade The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of the Durham VA Health Care System (VAHCS) intends to solicit for an Omnicell XT Extension Console Upgrade for the Durham VAHCS located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705-3875. This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to solicit this requirement. A Firm-Fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. When available, the solicitation will be available for download at Contract Opportunities on the System or Awards Management website http://www.SAM.gov in Contract Opportunities. Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to offerors about the quote submission process. Prospective Quoter(s) are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the SAM.gov website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Quotes will be evaluated for award after the soliciation has closed. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Companies may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov . To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential quoters are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible. The applicable NAICS Code is 339112-Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The Product Service Classification (PSC) code is 6515. This requirement will be solicited on a competitive basis. A single firm-fixed price contract will be awarded, which will be made commensurate with the needs of the Durham VAHCS. Responsible source may submit proposal. The VA will consider for evaluation only quotes from quoters who are found to be responsive and responsible.
