The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement for Laundry Dry Cleaning Services. Contractor shall provide professional dry-cleaning services. Contractor shall pick up soiled laundry in the mornings, each Monday and Wednesday with cleaned laundry returned on the following pickup date. Typical items for laundering include dress shirts, slacks, lab coats and napkins. The average weekly volume is 932 pounds of laundry. The NAICS code for this procurement is 812320, Drycleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated). Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
