The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Fayetteville VA Medical Center located at 2300 Ramsey Fayetteville, NC 28301, is conducting market research to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition for SDVOSB and VOSBs for Funeral Home and Transportation Services. The purpose of this contract is to furnish the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center with vehicular transport of deceased veterans to and from the FVAMC morgue to outlying facilities for autopsy and transport to and from the FVAMC to outlying facilities for temporary cooler storage in the event the FVAMC morgue is rendered inoperable. Contractor must be within 5 miles of the facility. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, and transportation and any incidentals necessary for the successful performance. Since the facility operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year the contractor shall be required, upon contract award, to provide toll free telephone numbers for contacting the Contractor s local facility and/or satellite facilities, for dayshift and after hours coverage after hours coverage is to include any time the Contractor s facility does not have an individual stationed at their facility such as after routine business hours, weekends and/or holidays). The contractor shall be responsible for ensuring these numbers are kept current and up to date at all times. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 812210 Funeral Homes and Funeral Services Size Standard $12.5 Million, and the Product Service Code (PSC) Classification is G001.
