The Department of Veteran s Affairs will solicit for vendors capable to provide Laboratory and Pathology Courier Services from the Hampton VA Medical Center to the new North Battlefield VA Clinic, Portsmouth CBOC daily, and to CBOCs, APOC, American Red Cross, and associated medical centers on an as needed basis. The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, transportation, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide courier services as defined in the Statement of Work, SOW. Service must be done in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines. A request for quote, RFQ, will be issued on Friday, January 10, 2025. Period of Performance is for one base year plus four, 4, option years to begin February 1, 2025. Laboratory and Pathology Courier Services for the North Battlefield VA Clinic will begin April 1, 2025. To be eligible for award, the prospective contractor must be registered in SAM database at http://www.sam.gov and comply with the Evaluation for Basis of Award. If you are an SDVOSB, VOSB or Small Business and plan on subcontracting, please provide a plan to show how your company will provide 51% of the work being performed. The North American Industry Classification Code, NAICS, is 492110 (Couriers and Express Delivery Services), Product Service Code is R602 (Support-Administrative: Courier/Messenger) and the Size Standard is 1,500 employees.
