The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-01. This solicitation is issued as Small Business Set-Aside, Open Market and Firm-fixed Price. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112, with a small business size standard of 1000 Employees. The Richmond VA Medical Center, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23249 has a request to purchase a new Spectralis system for the Eye Clinic. This requirement supports the activation of the new Fredericksburg Health Care Center.. Solicitation is expected to be issued on or before September 7, 2023. This is a Brand Name or Equal Solicitation. The offeror is submitting the Brand-Name or equal product including all technical specification/documentation to prove equal status. If you have an equal product that can be used for the request. Please included the specification of your components. The vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the lowest price acceptable for the government. Quotations shall be received no later than 3 PM EST on September 10, 2024. Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated.
