This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05. This solicitation is issued as Small Business Set-Aside, Open Market, and Firm-fixed Price PO. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337215, with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. The Richmond VA Medical Center has a requirement to purchase a pass-thru gun safe for the police armory and several safes and lockers for police storage in the new Fredericksburg HCC. This is a Brand Name or Equal Solicitation. The offeror is submitting the Brand-Name or equal product, including all technical specifications/documentation to prove equal status. If you have an equal product that can be used for the request, please include the specifications of your components. The vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the lowest price acceptable for the government. Quotations shall be received no later than 1PM EST on July 23, 2024. Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated.
