INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Alcon Vision LLC. This order will be for full technical support and maintenance for the Alcon Vision Centurion units at the Western North Carolina Health Care System. The maintenance service provided by Alcon Vision LLC and will be for the base period 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025 with four option years. The Service Agreement is to include and not limited to: The Service Agreement is to include: Monday Friday 08:00-17:00 Local Time Telephone Support Annual Planned Maintenance (where required by manufacturer) Onsite Repairs as Required Parts that require an FSE to install Case Support Clinical Training This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement no later than 12:00 PM EST, 11 April 2024 to: warren.pennil@va.gov.
