The Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking potential sources to provide recyclable material collection and removal service throughout the Medical Center s administrative and patient care areas. Service to include the following: Durham VAMC 507 Fulton St Durham, NC 27705 Hillandale CBOC 1824 Hillandale Rd & 1930 Hillandale Rd Durham, NC 27705 Brier Creek Dialysis 8081 Arco Corporate Dr, Ste 130 Raleigh, NC 27617 Raleigh, I CBOC 3305 Sungate Blvd Raleigh, NC 27610 Raleigh II CBOC 3040 Hammond Business Place, Ste 105 Raleigh, NC 27603 Raleigh III 2600 Atlantic Ave., Ste. 200 Raleigh, NC 27604 Croasidale CBOC (New) 3114 Croasdaile dr. Scope: Provide collection and removal services from Vendor owned correspondence locked boxes and contractor owned containers, when used, throughout the Medical Center as well as satellite locations. Recyclers collection containers must be free of defects that they do not damage VA property and contain all collected material and be covered for security and patient confidentiality. Computer generated labels and other Personally Identifiable Information and other sensitive agency information of all individuals, including veterans, dependents and employees contained in paper, audio, video, or disk collected by the contractor will be maintained under strict control and responsibility of Contractor from collection to destruction. Confidential materials shall be handled according to applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562111, Solid Waste Collection and the Size Standard is $47 Million. Period of Performance will be for one base year plus four option years. If you are an SDVOSB, VOSB or small business and plan on subcontracting, please provide a plan to show how your company will provide 51% of the work being performed. Also, provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
