The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW), under “Specifications”. The work includes onsite reupholstery of existing damaged furniture. Commercial waiting seating is located on the 1st floor Concourse of the Kernersville Health Care Center.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Kernersville Health Care Center located at 1695 Kernersville Medical Pkwy, Kernersville, NC 27284 will be soliciting for Furniture Reupholstery services. The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, travel, tools, materials, equipment, and technical expertise necessary to perform reupholstery services of existing damaged furniture. A request for quote (RFQ) 36C24624Q0480 will be issued on or before April 22, 2024. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The contractor shall begin work within 14 calendar days of award and shall complete all work within 60 days from the onset of services. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors must obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811420 - Reupholstery and Furniture Repair. The solicitation will be issued as SDVOSB 100% set aside.
