The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Qiagen LLC at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC as part of a Research and Development educational videos in service to the Integrative Mental Health Office. The Contractor shall provide an EZ1 Advanced XL Core Agreement Service Contract. The 36 month agreement will provide a 5 Business day priority response for repairs, with parts, labor, and travel included. A 1/year PM service suitable for the EZ1 Advanced XL is included. See details below: Perform service check list according to the manufacturer s specifications. Engineer performs visual environmental inspection of the instrument. Maintenance, calibration, and software update of the instrument, as needed. General maintenance: Liquid spills inspection; Worktable inspection; Inspect and service Tip Rack; Inspect UV Decontamination Bulbs: Magnetic head movement check; Lubricate/grease bearings and linear rails. Replace/Service O-rings on tip adapter array. Perform system self-test and comprehensive diagnostic checks. for the Durham VAMC, located in Durham, North Carolina 27705. Period of performance will be base 2+ option year of service. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past-experience and expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
