This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Solicitation, an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. All information received in response to this RFI marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT for the Salem VA Medical Center located at 1970 Roanoke Blvd Salem VA 24153. Information collected during this Sources Sought may be used in a set aside. If a solicitation is issued, the Government will do so in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-06, effective 12/04/2023. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 333415(Air-Conditioning and Warm Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing). The NAICS size is 1250 employees. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for small business status must be registered at SAM.gov and meet the requirements of FAR 19.102. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference as an SDVOSB or VOSB status must be VetCert certified by the SBA, (Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov)). A Contractor that proposes to provide a supply that is not manufactured by their organization (nonmanufacturer) shall meet the requirements of FAR 19.505.
