PURPOSE The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to find qualified vendors and to assist Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 in determining if a future contract effort can be competitively awarded for a Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 324110 Petroleum Refineries with the Small Business Size Standard of 1,500 employees. If the Government determines there are qualified vendors this requirement, a solicitation will be published and posted on the Contracting Opportunities website. The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement. INTRODUCTION The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Virginia VA Health Care System, Richmond VA Medical Center has a requirement for the delivery of 44,000 gallons of # 2 Dyed Diesel Fuel to be delivered to fill its 4 new backup generator fuel tanks (11,000 gallons per tank) located at 1201Broadrock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23249. The facility also has an additional requirement for a monthly service to top off all emergency systems fuel tanks (estimated monthly delivery of 3,250 gallons).
