The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Charlotte VA Clinic (HCC), 3506 W Tyvola Rd. Charlotte, NC 28208 is seeking potential sources capable to provide instrument maintenance service to inspect, scheduled set maintenance, general sharpening, alignment, refurbishment, spring replacement, ultrasonic cleaning, repair and sharpening of minimally invasive instruments, and restoration of passive layer on hand-held surgical instruments. Company MUST have the below qualifications to be considered capable: Surgical Tray Set Maintenance Tracking and Instrument Marking using Customer s Nutrace for marking. Data from Instrumentation marking must be in a format compatible with Censitrac and be able to be uploaded to the Censitrac inventory tracking systems database by the contractor. Monthly laser marking of a minimum of 300 instruments. 1 visit per month Each on-site visit must include inspection, repair and sharpening of 15 trays. Annual inspection and repair of 100 case carts Able to travel to Charlotte HCC loading dock area at 3506 W Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208 for pickups of items in building and outside of building, this may require the use of carts for pick up and use of elevators to access storage areas to acquire trays in need of service. Furnish all labor, equipment and supplies necessary for the on-site visits. Be available to be reached by phone and email during regular business hours: Monday thru Friday 0800-1700 Need to be a base +4-year contract. Need to be able to communicate any issues or problems to sterile Processing Leadership in a timely manner via phone or email. Perform repairs to ISO 13485: 2016 standard for medical devices. 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship 100% of equipment serviced and returned will perform to original design. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance; Small Business Size Standards $7.5 Million.
