The Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, VA 24153, is seeking potential sources capable of providing Surgical Instrument Sharpening Services. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, Size Standard $34 Million. The Contractor shall provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, quality control, and technical expertise for minor repair and sharpening of surgical instruments at Salem VA HCC. This will be an on-site mobile service. No sub-contracting of any portion of this service is authorized. To include telephone support and staff training. All travel and labor costs are to be covered with this agreement. Service will be performed on various types of surgical hand held instruments and will include sharpening, alignment, repairs, refurbishment, cleaning and restoration. Service will include 2 eight-hour days per month.
