THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition for Annual Emergency Generator Inspection at the Charles George VA Medical Center 100 Tunnel Road, Asheville NC 28805. The scope of the acquisition includes but is not limited to: Conducting first Full-Service Preventive Maintenance Inspection to include, prestart, cooling system, lubrication system, air intake system, fuel system, exhaust system, generator, electrical system, and control panel analysis and replacing of parts. Vendor will provide a second six (6) month follow up inspection in which the followings areas will be evaluated, prestart, cooling system, lubrication system, air intake system, exhaust system, fuel system, generator, control panel, transfer switch, start-up and running (cooling system & control panel). If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid as a prime contractor (capability statement); (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers. At least two (2) references are requested, but more are desirable. Responses to this notice should also identify whether or not the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Your response is required by: Friday 29 Sept. 2023 @ 12:00 PM. All capable vendors are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
