INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE Upgrades Building 42 Salisbury VAMC The contracting activity intends to award a sole source contract which includes replacement and upgrade of all Building Automation Systems currently operating the mechanical HVAC equipment in building #42. All new controls will be Schneider Electric, EcoStruxure series that will seamlessly integrate to our existing EcoStruxure Building Automation network system. All new control operations will be viewable and managed via our existing Graphic User Interface so to provide one comprehensive Building Automation Network System. Demo and decommission of all existing VAV controllers and associated components on 103 VAV boxes. Install new Ethernet Cat6 communication wiring for each VAV controller. Communication wiring will include a redundancy loop to help maintain communications in the event of failure or damage to the communications system. Will reuse existing HW reheat control valves and replace existing electronic control valve actuators with new Schneider Electric electronic control valve actuators.
