This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Salem VA Medical Center, located in Salem, Virginia, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform Asbestos Abatement Services for buildings 75 and 77 of the Salem VA Medical Center. Facilities Management Services, Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem VA, 24153. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be 180 calendar days from receipt of Notice of Award Work includes asbestos abatement and disposal of existing insulation and re-insulation of pipe, gaskets, elbows, and all fittings to produce a complete and usable insulation system. For estimating purposes, offerors may assume a total of 3,865 linear feet of pipe ranging between 1.5 inch to 4 inches in diameter. The table below provides quantities for each building.
