The Department of Veterans Affairs will be soliciting for vendors who can perform UPS Small Package Courier Services at the Hampton VA Medical Center, HVAMC, located in Hampton, VA. Domestic Express Small Package Delivery: Vendor shall provide Domestic Express delivery services point to point, to and from zip codes in various zones and locations. Small package is defined as any individual package weighing 50 lbs. or less. Domestic Ground Package Delivery: Vendor shall provide ground point to point delivery for individual packages weighing 50 lbs. or less to and from all zip codes in various zones and locations. Various locations cover the HVAMC, VA Beach Community Based Outpatient Clinic, CBOC, Chesapeake CBOC, Elizabeth City APOC, Portsmouth VA Clinic, and other affiliated medical centers. This will be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, SOW, included in the solicitation. A Request for Quote will be issued on, or around, 25 July 2023. The Period of Performance is for One Base Year beginning on, or around, 7 AUG 2023 through 6 AUG 2024. To be eligible for award, the contractor must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 492110, Couriers and Express Delivery Services, the Size Standard is for 492110 is 1,500 employees, and the Product Service (PSC) Code is R602, Support-Administrative: Courier/Messenger.
