The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs Administration, Salisbury VA Healthcare System, W. G. Hefner Medical Center located at 1601 Brenner Ave. Salisbury, NC 28144 has need of a contractor who can provide Onsite Training, Testing & System Update Medium Voltage (12,470) Switches & HMI System. Review and performance check of complete system installation incl SF6 switches, control cabinets with ABB REC 670 relays, communication network and RTAC HMI components. Supervision of system functionality during live system test. Update of RTAC firmware to the latest version. Provide basic training on the current system capabilities. This includes hardware (SF6 switches, control cabinets with ABB REC670 relays, communication network, RTAC HMI) and software (HMI screens and functions, operations, automation functionality, etc.) Provide advanced training incl updating load shedding priorities and downloading system reports (e.g., alarms, events, sequence of operations, disturbance, and any other reports as per VAMC requirement). Provide a backup laptop workstation with the currently installed system. Provide programing and training on the Emergency Load Designation system. The NAICS CODE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS 221122, Electrical Power Distribution.
