Will the DA Tank and Condensate tank have useful life studies or just the 3 specifically listed boilers?  There is mention in solicitation that ancillary equipment should be considered but for useful life studies the tanks are treated as a separate piece of equipment which each have a dedicated report. The DA Tank is out of service due to failure and will not be placed back in service, a temporary DA Tank trailer is on-site with a project in place to replace the DA Tank through our Construction department. There are no immediate plans for the condensate tank.

INTENT NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a need for Boiler Useful Life Inspection. The contractor shall provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to provide the services. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13. Place of Performance: Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond VA. 23249 Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a base contract beginning 1 Sept, 2023 31 Jan 2024 strict accordance with all schedule specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a SDVOSB set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 541380, Testing Laboratory and Services. Maintenance with a size standard of $19 Million. This requirement will be solicited as a SDVOSB set aside. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation.
