Questions (Black) / Response (Red) Number and size of the laundry carts needed: Response: Number of Carts: 14 carts, Size Wide: 28 inches wide. Length: 54 ½ inches in length. Height: 63 inches. Depth: 55 inches. Is there a loading dock on the delivery address and if you require liftgate service: Response: We have a loading dock and do not require liftgate service. Would the end-user be interested in receiving additional information on a similar transport trolley constructed with aluminum: Response: My team and I have researched and discussed the aluminum cart in the picture.  These carts will melt if linen is to hot and they are not fire retardant. These carts are more for using as storage and not for use in deliveries. They do not hold up as well as the fiberglass and the life span would be around 5 years compared to 20 years for the fiberglass. The VA does specify that fiberglass carts are needed for the laundry because they are fireproof. This Solicitation has been extended until 06/21/2023 closes at 11:00 a.m. EST.
