NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to award a sole source contract for repairs of the Parking Structure (Building 9) at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina to Walker Consultants 3545 Whitehall Park Drive, Suite 425 Charlotte, NC 28273. This requirement shall include ALL work to provide a complete and finished product. When work is completed with this project, it is expected the Government will be able to take full benefit of the finished product without additional work required. NAICS code is 238120 Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors, and the classification code is Z2LZ Repair or Alteration of Parking Facilities with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 million. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due 05/19/2023 at 1:00PM EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to mark.griffin2@va.gov.
