Good morning, The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 is conducting Market Research through this sources sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Businesses, registered under NAICS code 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, capable of providing 8 customizable instrument preparation workstations for Durham VAMC Sterilize Processing Services with the following characteristics: Frame Height 81 inches Frame Width 73 ½ inches Frame Depth 39 inches Desk Height 26 to 42 inches Height Adjustment powered Workstation with electrical connection Medical Grade Stainless steel top: non-porous work surface that can withstand constant cleaning with disinfectant solutions (infection control standards) Powered Height Adjustment capability will enable the 28 Medical Supply Technicians to sit or stand while they assemble instrument trays. Height adjustable workstation alleviates physical stress Powered height adjustable work surface allows ergonomically correct alignment of computer monitors, keyboard, lighting, bins and peg boards 43-inch vertical riser frame that raises/lowers with the base 750-pound dynamic and 1000 lb static weight capacity All respondents shall indicate the following: Whether or not they are small business manufacturers of the products they wish to offer, or Whether or not they are distributors of a small business manufacturer and the following: Does your company have 500 or less employees? Does your company take ownership or possession of the item(s) in a manner consistent with industry practice? Is your company interested in providing a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) quote or Open Market (indicate FSS contract #)? Failure to provide the above information may result in the potential offeror being considered incapable of meeting the VA s needs If the contractor can provide the above items, the contractor shall provide a letter from the manufacturer stating they are an authorized distributor/licenser of their products. Failure to submit an authorized distributor letter shall result in the product(s) potentially offered to be considered grey market and shall not be considered technically acceptable. If the contractor can provide the above product and services, please indicate in your response that the above requirements can be met and provide a brochure of its product. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research.
