Notice Type: Amendment Synopsis: VA Pre-Solicitation Notice for VISN 06, Mechanical Room Floor Epoxy Service The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of Salisbury VA Health Care System, VA Medical Center intends to solicit a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business set-aside for a one-time mechanical room floor epoxy service for the W.G. Bill Hefner Veterans Affairs medical Center located at 1601 Brenner Avenue,Salisbury, NC 28144-2515. This pre-soliciation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intnet to solicit the mechanical room floor exposy requirement, a Fiorm-Fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. The VA anticipates issuing a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business soliciation for this requirment. The soliciation will be avaiable for down loas at http://www.SAM.gov Contract Opportuntites website. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading copies of the soliciation (and any susequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The soliciation will provide instructions to potiential offerors about the quote submission process. Prospective Offeror(s) are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the SAM.gov website so that they are notified of the issuance of the soliciation and any ammendments. Quotes will be evlauated for award after the solication has closed. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, SYstem for Award Management, prosepctive offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.SAM.gov. To be eleigible for award, contrctors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offeror(s) are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible. The applicable NAICS Code is 238330-Flooring Contractors with a small business standard of $19.0 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) code is Z2DA. This requirement will be solicited on a competitive basis. A single Firm-Fixed price contract will be awarded, which will be made commensurate with the needs of the Salisbury VA Medical Center, W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center. The VA will consider for evaluation only qoutes from offerors who are found to be responsive and responsible. This amendment is to address typographical and formatting errors to Section E.5 Specific Instructions and Basis for Award.
