The Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), Salem, Virginia is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Ramp Replacement Building 12 & 16, Project # 658-23-103. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Constructions. A site visit will be conducted on March 15, 2023, @ 10:00 AM EST at the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Building 74 (front-side), Salem, Virginia 24153 for interesting parties. The project is a design/build that will include all necessary elements as needed to demolish or remove the existing pedestrian ramps and stairs, patch the interface between the existing structures and their interface with adjacent structures, and construct new permanent pedestrian ramps and stairs at each location. Bldg. 12 concrete pedestrian ramp located on the north-eastern side of the building Bldg. 16 temporary metal pedestrian ramp and concrete stairs THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
