THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside a acquisition to provide Boiler Plant Water Treatment at the Hampton VA Medical Center. The scope of the acquisition includes but is not limited to: Contractor shall provide chemical treatment and testing of the boiler water system to include supplying all labor, equipment, parts, material and expertise to control scale and corrosion and improve heat transfer in the boiler system on a monthly basis. The contractor is responsible for providing all testing equipment necessary to execute all requirements of treatment and testing. The contractor is required to maintain calibration of all testing equipment. Contractor shall maintain an in-house laboratory facility for complete analysis of treated water, deposits, and metal fatigue analysis. The laboratory must be under the supervision of a Professional Chemist: The laboratory shall have the ability to perform all chemical and biological water analysis, fuel oil analysis, deposit and metallurgical analyses. These are included in chemical supplier's program cost. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid as a prime contractor (capability statement); (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers. At least two (2) references are requested, but more are desirable. Responses to this notice should also identify whether or not the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Your response is required by: Monday 20 February 2023 12:00 PM. All capable Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond.
