Additionally, the Government reserves the right to revise the Performance Work Statement, Statement of Work and/or other contract requirements before the release of any associated solicitation. This notice is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quotes (RFQ). Information provided in this notice is subject to change prior to release of a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for pharmaceutical disposals services for a vendor who provides pharmaceutical/medication disposal to include pick up of returned, expired, and discarded medication for disposal purposes. The Salisbury VA Health Care System is looking for pharmaceutical disposal services of a vendor who is able to handle medication returns, refunds, and disposal services supporting the Salisbury VCA Healthcare System (SVAHCS) in Salisbury, North Carolina. Forward all questions to the Contracting Specialist identified below. Based on the market research results the VA anticipates issuing a solicitation in the future for these services. Should a solicitation for this requirement to be posted it would be posted in the System for Awards Management System (SAMS). The solicitation would be available for download from http://www.sam.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation when posted (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation, if posted will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should include the following information; name and address of company, business size (large or small):identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Veteran Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement. The VA will determine based on the market research if a solicitation is warranted. Responses to this announcement should be directed to the Contract Specialist using the email address provided.
