This Sources Sought Notice is for the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) to determine sources for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Life Support (ALS) Services. The Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Healthcare System requires a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, insurance, licenses and equipment to provide safe and comfortable services necessary for both Special Mode Transportation for Beneficiary Travel eligible Veterans to include the Wilmington Healthcare Center catchment area and emergent inter-facility advanced life support (ALS)/basic life support (BLS) ground ambulance transport services for the Fayetteville VA Medical Center (VAMC) Emergency Department as needed by FNCVAMC. The contractor shall furnish twenty-four (24) hour ambulance service seven (7) days a week for the beneficiaries of the Fayetteville VAMC Emergency Department, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Contractor shall assist the patient as needed to access the vehicle for transportation. This may include, but is not limited to, bed to stretcher or stretcher to bed transfer, when necessary. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement addressing its capabilities, capacity, and location which shall be considered by the agency. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: capability statement, name and address of company, NAICS Code, SAM Unique Entity Identifier number, DUNS number, business size (large, small, VOSB, or SDVOSB), identify applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates the firm s ability to meet the above requirement.
