Special Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 6, intends to solicit quotes for a Licenced Contractor to provide chemical treatment, service, complete preventative maintenance service, and on-the-job training for Government owned equipment for the Durham VA Health Care System, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Contracting Opportunities website, https://sam.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is January 9, 2023, and the anticipated closing date is January 13, 2023. Interested Quoters are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Request for Quotations number is 36C24623Q0312. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 221310 and the size standard is 36 Million dollars. This procurement will be solicited as a Service Disable Veteran Owned Business Set Aside under FAR Part 13 Procedures. All prospective Contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://sam.gov/ database and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (221310) is included in the SAM profile before submission of quotations. Failure to register in the database will make a Quoter ineligible for an award.
