The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is December 30, 2022, through November 30, 2023, or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. Technical requirements of the contractor shall include pickup mattresses from facility on request. Clean mattress and launder therapy pads in Joerns equipment technical center. Perform and document quality control check (QC) after cleaning mattress. Identify and mattresses that require repair. Issue a quote and obtain a purchase order from VA for any repairs not covered by warranty. Repackage clean mattresses in clear plastic bags, store with copy of QC paperwork. Deliver and set up clean mattress on request. Planned service of pickup to be performed during normal business hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday.
